What is the BZF & BZF E?
For the provision of aviation radio services at ground and airborne stations, a radio operator certificate issued by the Federal Network Agency is generally required. The BZF (Radiotelephony Certificate) authorizes participation in aviation radio communication. The BZF II authorizes radio communication within the Federal Republic of Germany in German according to visual flight rules. The BZF I encompasses the rights of the BZF II and authorizes VFR radio communication in German and English. The BZF E authorizes radio communication within the Federal Republic of Germany in Englisch according to visual flight rules.
Why should I prep for the theoretical examination of BZF and BZF E?
In the theoretical part of the examination, 100 multiple-choice questions must be answered within 60 minutes, with at least 75 questions answered correctly.
